Welcome to the Existing Student Annual Enrollment process for students returning for the 2025-26 school year! Ensuring your student's information is up to date is crucial, and we appreciate your cooperation in completing this process before the end of the school year.
Where to Complete the Enrollment Process
The enrollment process takes place in Sylogist, our Student Information System. This is the same platform where you currently check your student's grades.
How to Begin
To start your child’s Existing Student Annual Enrollment:
Log in to your Sylogist (Cherokee Sylogist) account.
If you do not have your login information, please contact your school site’s secretary or email Mrs. Tucker at tucker@cherokee.k12.ok.us.
Click on the Student Records Portal icon.
Locate and select the Enroll Student – 2025-26 link.
Note: If you need to change the primary guardian, please contact your school site.
Enrollment Steps
The process consists of three key steps:
Step 1 – Demographics
Verify that all student information is accurate.
Make corrections if necessary.
Ensure the primary guardian is listed as Contact #1.
Click Save and Continue to Next Step to proceed.
Step 2 – Relations
Review and confirm family relationship information.
Make updates as needed.
Step 3 – Documents
Upload all required documents relevant to your student.
Complete all listed eForms.
Once an eForm is completed, click the green check mark to continue to the next form.
Finalizing the Enrollment
After completing Steps 1 through 3, finish the Existing Student Annual Enrollment process by clicking on the Submit to Site button.

COMMON PROBLEMS
I asked for an account and I haven't received anything yet. If you ask for an account outside of our regular working hours - your account will not be activated until our staff returns to the office. That means there will be no accounts activated at night or on weekends.. Additionally, there may be times when our staff is in Professional Development or other meetings and will be unable to activate accounts.
When I click on Guardian Portal it signs me out. All of the new student creation happens in the STUDENT RECORDS PORTAL. If you click on the Student Records Portal, you can see any students that you have started, and Add New Students.
My only option is "Add New Student" but my student was at Cherokee last year. For this year, because the software is new, ALL students are considered NEW. Next year, you will be able to select "Returning Student" and have fewer forms to complete.
If you are an employee at Cherokee - your logon procedure is different.
