🏀 GAME UPDATE 🏀 Cherokee vs. Timberlake (Boys only) At Helena Tuesday, January 27 JV Boys: 5:30 PM (one half) Varsity: 6:00 PM This is a makeup game from the Boys Consolation game at the Cherokee Strip Conference Tournament. Concessions will be limited. Fan Appreciation Night sponsored by AEC — FREE ADMISSION for all fans! Come out and support the Chiefs!

Cherokee Public Schools will be back in session Tuesday, January 27th. All classes will start at regular time. NW Tech will be in session also and the bus will leave at the normal time. City streets are still covered in snow so please take your time and be careful. We look forward to seeing you back tomorrow! Thank you to our maintenance staff for getting the campus cleared and ready! We also want to thank Alfalfa County’s crew for clearing our parking lots. We appreciate your hard work!!

Have a 10th or 11th grader at Cherokee High School? Join us Thursday, Jan 29 in the CHS Library to begin enrollment for Fall 2026 Northwest Technology Center programs and NWOSU Concurrent classes. Meetings are required for any student planning to participate (including 2nd‑year NW Tech and returning NWOSU students).
Choose one session: 5:15 PM or 6:00 PM. A parent must attend. We’ll:
• Review program options
• Answer questions
• Distribute info packets
• Sign permission & enrollment forms
• Enroll students in NW Technology Center courses
• Begin NWOSU Concurrent admission steps (enrollment opens in March)

Note: All 10th graders will tour NW Tech on Jan 28. Students won’t be enrolled until the parent meeting and forms are completed. If you can’t attend, contact us to schedule a meeting. Have questions? Reach out — we want parents involved in these important academic decisions. 👏📚

🏀 Game update: No games on Monday for the Medford JH Basketball Tournament. We'll share an updated bracket when it's available. We plan to resume play Wednesday — stay tuned for any changes.

Cherokee Public Schools will be closed and activities canceled on Monday, January 26th. Classes at NWTech have also been canceled.

Due to impending weather the Cherokee v Timberlake boy consolation game has been postponed. Rescheduling information will be provided at a later date. Thank you!
