Starting again this Wednesday (1-26-22), there will be a TUTOR available every Wednesday after school from 3:30 - 5:30pm at the Cherokee Public Library. Any Cherokee student may use this service free of charge courtesy of the Upward Bound program through NWOSU.
Attached are the updated brackets for the Junior High Basketball Tournament at Medford.
Today's Boys JV and HS Basketball games will be streamed to www.cherokeechiefs.tv. Boys JV game will start at 5:15pm and the HS games will start at 6:30pm.
We have rescheduled the JH/HS Game with Timberlake. The games will be on Saturday, January 29th. JH will start at 10:30am and Homecoming Coronation will begin around 12:30pm. HS games will start at 1pm.

Dear Cherokee Chief Families,
We have made the difficult decision to cancel school on Friday and Monday due to a high number of student and staff absences. We have worked extremely hard and taken all steps to avoid this, but at this time we feel this is in the best interest of all our students and staff. We will return to in person instruction on Tuesday January 18th. Friday the 14th and Monday the 17th will be non instructional days and no virtual classes will be held. At this time we want everyone to be able to take care of their family and their needs and not add to the stress of this situation any more than is necessary.
The basketball games for Friday have been rescheduled for Saturday January 29th. This will also be homecoming as well. Game times for Junior High and High School will be released at a later date. Elementary and Junior High games on Monday at Ringwood have been postponed and a make up date will be attempted.
Please know that these decisions have not been easy to make and that we have taken all things into consideration before deciding what is best for our district. We appreciate your support and understanding as always.

The Cherokee Strip Basketball Tournament will be January 20 - 22. Games will be played at Pioneer High School!
We will be streaming the Cherokee Games for the Cherokee Invitational Basketball Tournament. The Lady Chiefs will play at 11am and the Chiefs will play at 12:20pm. Games can be watched at www.cherokeechiefs.tv.
Tonight's HS basketball games vs South Barber have been canceled. We will attempt to reschedule if possible.
