Information from Pioneer Public Schools regarding Friday Evenings Game: We are recommending masks, but are not requiring them during the game as long as social distancing can be maintained. However, we are asking that fans please wear masks to the concession stand and the restroom as we cannot maintain distancing at those times. Fan may bring chairs and sit on the track on your side of the field. We just ask that they please stay off of the grass which we will consider the field of play. Fans can sit basically endzone to endzone on the track, minus the area in front of the bleachers which we would reserve for your cheerleaders. Our band will be set up behind the south endzone. We are locating them there so they can maintain social distancing and it alleviates seating for our fans on the home side. Just did not want that to catch you off guard. We are asking all fans after the game to not linger on the field and to try to return to their cars in a timely fashion. Just trying to avoid large gatherings of parents on the field. Admission is $5 for adults and school aged students.

Cherokee Families, We have had a student at Cherokee Middle School test positive for COVID-19. We have identified 21 students who were in close contact and will begin immediate quarantine. Every parent of a child who came into close contact has been personally notified. If you did not receive a phone call your child did not come into close contact with this individual. All of our quarantine procedures and contact tracing are guided by the State and County Health Department. Thank you
