Cherokee Public Schools is incredibly grateful to the Gene Belcher Educational Foundation for their generous donation of three beautiful benches to our district. These benches are more than just a place to sit — they are a lasting gift that will serve our students, staff, and visitors for years to come. The Gene Belcher Educational Foundation, established by Gene Loyd Belcher of Cherokee, Oklahoma, in 2013, aims to assist students from Northwest Oklahoma with their post‐secondary education expenses at any college, university, or technology center, specifically for high school graduates from Alfalfa, Grant, Kay, Major, and Woods County.
