Please do not delay to apply for the OK Promise Tuition Waiver. You must qualify by June 30th of your 10th grade year to be eligible. Families must not exceed the federally adjusted gross income of $55,000. Due to COVID, 10th graders for the 2019-2020 school year may qualify with some special exceptions, but you must submit your application prior to the deadline of June 30th, 2020. Cherokee Lady Chiefs Summer Pride for 7th - 12th grade students will be every Monday, Wednesday and Thursday in June. Weight lifting will be from 6:30am to 7:30am & open field/gym will be from 7:30am to 8:30am. Students will need to bring their own water bottle & towel. Signed permission slips will need to be turned in to participate.
Cherokee boy’s basketball summer pride will start on June 9th for 7th - 12th grade students.

Reminder - There will be an athletics meeting for all 7th - 12th grade student athletes, including HS Cheerleaders, tonight at 6 PM. The meeting will take place at the Sports Complex with coaches. This will be an informative meeting to explain procedures & protocols for summer pride & athletic activities. Permission slips will also be handed out for signatures. Parents & players are encouraged to attend.

Due to the number of students we have had sign up for Driver’s Education, we will now be offering two Driver’s Education sessions. Participants will be divided by age.
The first Driver’s Education session for the Summer of 2020 will begin June 15th. Participants in the course must turn 15 before June 15th.
The second session will begin July 13th. Participants in the second session must turn 15 before July 13th.
The cost of the class is $250. Money can be brought to the first day of class.
Classes will be held Monday - Thursday from 8 a.m to 12 p.m. Driving times will be scheduled the first week of class. A sign up sheet is located in the office at the high school. Office hours are Monday - Thursday from 9 a.m. to 1 pm.
A roster for each session will be posted Monday.
