Cherokee Chief Families:
Beginning on Monday April 3rd the Safe Routes to School sidewalk project will begin construction. We are being told this construction will begin at 7th and Nebraska by the Elementary School and work west down 7th toward Grand Ave. We are unsure at this time how long this project will impact traffic on 7th street. We do anticipate this causing some congestion and possibly slowing down our arrival and dismissal at the elementary. Please be patient as we work through any necessary changes. Alternate routes for students walking and riding bikes may need to be utilized while this project is going on. We will update you when and if those changes occur. Cherokee Schools and the Cherokee PD will continue to ensure a safe arrival and dismissal for all students.

Tomorrow's HS Track Meet has been postponed. Due to a scheduling conflict we will not be attending the meet this year.
Prom is on Saturday, April 1 at the Fairgrounds! The community is invited to attend Open House at 5:30pm and the Prom Walk at 7:00pm.
Weekly Activities Update: Cherokee will play on Thursday & Saturday at the JH Baseball Tournament in Helena. The softball game scheduled for Friday has been canceled. Spring Sports Pictures have been postponed.
The Sophomore Class is selling softball, baseball & Track t-shirts. Order forms are attached.

5th & 6th Covington-Douglas Track Meet is trying something new today! They will be posting results at www.enduroresults.com.
Attached is the bracket for the Cherokee Strip Baseball Tournament. Games will be played in Helena & Kremlin.
6th & 7th Graders: MASH Camp informational presentation for the Summer Camp event will be on March 21st. If you miss the presentation, please email Mrs. Jordan with your questions! Check your school email for the details on March 22nd.

The JH Track bus will be arriving back in Cherokee in 20 minutes.
Weekly Activities for March 20 - 25. Thursdays baseball game will be Junior High & High School game’s starting at 4:30. The JH Academic Meet has been moved to March 29.
The 5th & 6th grade track team will be attending the meet at Covington-Douglas on Wednesday. The bus will leave at 7:45am from the field house. Attached is the meet schedule.
The Junior High track bus will leave at 7:45am from the field house for the meet at Covington Douglas. Field events will start at 9:45am & running events will start at 10:15am. Attached is the meet schedule.
